EXPLANATION WORKING OUT YOUR AVERAGE SCORE

What is not generally known is that the default score given by the computer program for a ‘walk-over’ is 21-14 when working out the averages.

The score for the team result is 21-0.

The system fails when Captains decide to name a player who isn’t there just to save a small fine.

Also a player has to have played 50% of the games, available in his team, to count in the averages (top 25) so it will even out as the season progresses.

There is no award for winning the averages; it is only for a players own satisfaction.

Working your average score is simply points for minus points against divided by the number of games played.
