Consider applications to join Veterans League and rule change proposals
Applications have been received to join the Veterans League from Harrison Park BC, Albany BC and lastly Heswall RBL
Three teams accepted
Rule change proposals received
From Little Sutton BC
1)
We propose the
scoring system for the evening leagues goes back to what it used to be:
Two points for the team with the most points per match and one point for a drawn
match, plus an extra point for the aggregate over the home and away matches.
No change.
From Castrol SL
1) That all evening league games will be played for one point. (Not as it is now 1pt. for home win, 1+ 1/2 pt for an away win.). The extra points for the aggregate remain as it is now. No change.
2) That all evening league games in April, August and September start at 6.15pm. No change.
From Capenhurst BC
1)
Minor rule change – Rule 42.
Add – except in Veterans league where only 3 Jacks are used.
Accepted
2)
Additional Rule.
Visiting teams only to be allowed to practice on the green for the last 15
minutes before the start of play.
Accepted
3)
Round Robin Changes.
Based on the results from the 2009 season the handicap difference to be amended
to 20 shots per league position.
Instead of having a straight draw for groups, the top four teams, in each
division, from the previous season, to form the first groups and the remainder
from each division to form the other groups.
